Description
Hi! I'm Ziggy Stardust. Are you looking for a chunky boy packed with personality and stalker tendencies? Then I might just be what you’re looking for. In return for your time I have a lot of love and cuddles to give.
Aloof is not a word you’d use to describe me. Oh no sir, I’m straight in there. Life is too short and I have no time to waste on small talk. I want all the love, affection and company I can get in this earthly body. Saying this, you will need to prove you are worthy of me before I give my heart away. But once we click, I'll be your best friend forever.
I'm actively looking for an empty lap, with immediate availability to fill that vacancy. So, if you are looking for a true companion let’s have a chat!
*Notes from the fosterer*
This lovely boy had been coming to the garden of a young kind samaritan in South London for about a year. In the beginning he was very skittish and wary, only accepting the occasional treats. Despite making post on local groups and asking around the neighbourhood to try find his owner, there was no luck. As the kitty was getting skinnier by the week, the kind samaritan started feeding him.
Slowly and with a lot of patience, they established a trust. And as time went by, their bond grew stronger. Until finally they became the best of friends. He would like nothing more than to jump on her lap to feel safe and happy.
Unfortunately, with an existing resident cat who was not very happy about Ziggy's presence, his feeder could not offer him a home. She reached out to every single rescue in London, with no reply or support to help from anyone. So we stepped in to help.
With the assistance of his feeder, we managed to get him to the vet to get neutered + microchipped + flea and worm treated.
We found a foster home where Ziggy is now thriving. He is open for adoption enquiries with a free lap to call his own. Share, comment, like to help spread the word.
When we rescued Ziggy from a life on the streets, we would never imagined the kind of personality he’d turn would be. Ziggy is what we'd call an emotional support cat. He bonds hard with his human(s), is very affectionate and genuinely craves physical contact with you. Ziggy would be happiest in a house hold that has a lot of time for him.
To imagine him being a stray for so many years whilst yearning for the kind of closeness he needs and wants, is just heart breaking. We hope to find him a loving home that needs him as much as he needs them.
Follow Mr Whiskers Rescue to see Ziggy's rescue journey.
Ziggy is under 3 years old
Will need garden but not a roamer

You can officially apply via the Penny Paws website:
https://pennypaws.org/cat-adoption-form/
Not all cats are on the website at all times. This doesn't mean the cat you like isn't available, or the ones you see includes everyone in need of a home! We are sheltering well over 50 cats most of the time.
WhatsApp is the easiest way to get hold of me: ************
And application videos are best sent via WhatsApp (although short videos can be sent by message on pets4homes too).
It's so important we match the right cat to the right home and family.
Please continue reading for more information and message me if you are interested in this adoption or to hear about the many other cats and kittens we are caring for and home hunting for.

Hi I am Rebecca and I have a mission. Incase you don’t know me already, that mission is
- to scoop up the lost, abused and abandoned
- teach them to trust and love again - get them healthy and happy
- and neuter or spay them so we can get a grip on the kitten epidemic in this country
- then find them the forever home they truly deserve….
PLEASE NOTE!!
Pets4homes does not allow payment for animals adopted via its website. I dont know why and its very frustrating. Please visit my website to see lots of testimonials and photos of penny paws rescues in their new homes :) www.pennypaws.org/testimonials
To reserve a cat or kitten we ask for non refundable £50 deposit per individual . The rest is paid on collection. Again, pets4homes does not allow me to make this clear when posting the ads.

Rescues are full and waiting lists are long, so I foster the poppets with nowhere else to go - sadly there are many of them.
I have built a network of wonderful people that I communicate with and work with to enable me to find, rescue, foster, rehabilitate, treat and ultimately rehome as many as I can. It’s a full time ‘job’ but I make no profit financially - although I it definitely benefits me spiritually to do this.
I believe that every cat deserves to be loved and to feel safe. And while I can’t help them all, I do as much as I can. In order for this to work, I use my own finances, every penny of adoption fees and also kind donations to cover my costs of caring for current residents and whoever comes next (this includes providing the necessary food, litter, toys, vets bills for spaying, neutering, MoTs and medication etc - overwhelmingly high and never ending..). Or to contribute to the costs of the people caring for the cats I don’t have capacity for.
I ask for a small non refundable deposit (per cat) and the rest is paid on collection. I consider adoption offers very carefully. It’s so important to me that my fosters go to safe, loving and permanent homes so I have certain questions to ask and although I don’t feel the need to do actual home checks, I ask for a short video that shows where the cat will be going. I need to be sure that I have found them a loving, safe and permanent future or I’m failing them.
Thank you so much for your support
Love Rebecca
