Description
Hi this is Marley the most loving dog I know. Due to mobility issues now which is getting worse I am having to rehome him with a heavy heart to do so as he is like a child of mine. I know it’s not fair not being able to walk him and these walking services are so expensive. And where he so loving he has tripped me up a few times now. But he would just lay with u all day. He is very well house trained and will sleep all night 10 hours with out needing the loo. But where I don’t sleep well I always let him out about 2-3 am. He is on harringtons chicken dry superfoods as this the only one he would eat and I put a little cube of Warringtons wet food for sensitive tummy’s but I divide the serving into 8 meals.and there will be food and his items that will come with him . He has only ever been caged once and that was for his safety after being neutered to stop him jumping. Bad points is he is a very excitable dog and tends to jump up when meeting new people not so bad with kids he does love kids and always wants to meet them. He will let u take his food away with out snapping or anything. And he is a bit nervous when he sees other dogs when he is being walked but that has always been on the lead. He just barks and sometimes wags his tail. He hasn’t been off lead though whilst out. He don’t like cats either so can’t be homed with a cat. So he needs a bit of training with those issues. He will calm down if u give him his bone if gets to much when meeting new people in house. Not so bad out side . Oh and he needs training with dropping or giving u his toy he loves his bones but they need to be those extra tough ones as he can get through toys in minutes. He does the whole drops it at your feet but when u go to pick it up he gets in there quickly . He just gets very excited when he has he toy and needs to be trained in that area as well. He will follow commands like sit , lay down , bed , wee wees for going into garden , roll over , high five and fetch bone. Oh and walkies. He will sulk at times if he bored being part of two breeds that sulk well. But he just loves attention and would love it all day long. He is good on the lead and he will sit before crossing the road with either a sit command or little tug on lead. If he sees a dog he will bark most times but I just pull him beside me and stop and wait for dog to pass . So as stated needs a little training with this. But other than that he is the most loving dog and so good with kids I have a ten year old that stays every other weekend and he likes to sleep in her room when she here either on his bed or on her tucked up to her. So would rather he go to a home where he can go where he wants and not to be caged up. He does get left in house on own for a few hours. He is staff cross lurcher but don’t know about his parents and was never given that information
