Description
Merlin is an adult male Veiled (also known as Yemen) Chameleon. His age is unknown as he came to me as an emergency rehome. His temperament can be typical of this species but he will handfeed and tolerate handling on his terms - he loves explore outside of his enclosure.
I am happy to sell him without his setup (£30) but I must see proof of setup and will not accept anything less suitable than what he has already.
The price does not begin to cover the cost of his setup, this is a great deal.
Included in his full setup (pictured):
• 2x2x4 mesh enclosure with custom background and one side covered to avoid water spray leaving the enclosure. This wall has two custom planters mounted onto it. The bottom is lined with pond-liner to hold in the substrate and the front panel has been covered with vinyl for a cleaner look.
• Jungle Dawn LED for visual light and to promote plant growth & longevity
• Arcadia ProT5 UVB unit
• Heat lamp in dome
• Dimming thermostat (ensures enclosure does not overheat
• Live plants, branches and logs
• Metal enclosure stand
Please note that the substrate has living custodians in it, including woodlice, earthworms and springtails. I have never had any problems with these escaping and they help with enclosure maintenance - these are often referred to as a 'clean-up crew'.
You will need calcium and multivitamin supplement powders for his livefood (he happily eats large dubia roaches, extra large locusts, extra large black crickets, morio worms and silk worms). You will also need a water spray bottle for daily misting.
Collection from S18, a van would be necessary to avoid dismantling the enclosure.
