Description

Ted is a dear boy with a lot of character. We have only had Ted for two weeks but my son who is autistic is very scared of him because of his size and energy. Ted is a very intelligent dog and will sit, lay down, give paw and sit a the kerb when walking. He always gets lots of attention because he is a very handsome boy. He loves going to the beach and is great with other dogs when out on walks. He sleeps all night in his crate and is great at being left in his crate during the day for several hours. However Ted does have some resource guarding of treats and toys. The vet believes that with training this can be overcome. We want to make sure Ted goes to the right home. Someone with experience of border collies would be ideal. Also someone who has the time for long walks and is willing to train Ted. He really is a special boy and it breaks my heart to have to give him up but I must put my son’s best interest first.
