Here we have for sale my gorgeous girl aurora through no fault of her own im just unable to ride anymore and its not fair on her being a pet as she enjoys a job i will be as honest as I can so please only serious enquires who have read her full advert .
Aurora is approx 15.2 8 yrs old in April has never raced ,shes a lovely sweet girl who once has a bond with her person will be your best friend
On the ground Aurora is great to catch lead and groom she can get fidgety but is happy to stand with a haynet as most are ! Shes good to bath and clip apart from her head shes never liked it so ive always left it on ive never sedated her to clip but again she can fidget never kicks or bites,
Shes good with teeth and farrier can snatch one front foot but its nothing nasty and any calm quiet farrier will have no trouble trimming her feet shes had some bad experiences with farriers where ive had to previously sedate her but ive had the same one now for three years and hes been amazing and she stands perfectly for him , she is barefoot with me with hoof boots but has previously had shoes
On its just my preference .
Travel she is good as gold on a lorry walks straight on no problems
Trailers are an isssue she hit her head on the way out of one and wont go on one since but with time and effort and patience im sure she will learn to relax again as before that she was perfect to load and travel in one
Ridden work she has been off for the past six months as im not able to ride she was bought in the other day by a friend and taken for hack and was good as gold , but previously ive taken her xcountry schooling and she loved it she is very green but willing and went over everything I asked her she loves jumping , schooling is very green as its not something I enjoy and I dont have a school im a happy hacker and thats what we mostly do , shes great In traffic she is your typical tb and can be spooky but never does anything nasty just stops and looks but will always go forward when asked she definatly takes her confidence from her rider she is happy to hack in company or alone , aurora is used to farm machinery cows sheep etc the usual things u see in the countryside if shes not in constant work she gets a bit joggy but that is all if ridden consistently shes fine she thrives as she thrives off routine shes great in open spaces has never bucked bronked or taken off however she is a very strong ride but not unsafe but I wouldnt say ahe is suitable for a novice she needs someone who is confident and experienced and is looking for a buzzy ride as she is a real pocket rocket and loads of fun. We've also done local shows where shes been placed and was good as gold didnt get fizzy in the show atmosphere she took it all in her stride.
Aurora prefers to live out all year round and she does really well for it she can be stabled but will crib and headtoss she wears a crib collar and that seems to stop her doing it she has been turned out with mares and geldings
Teeth feet and worming is up to date
She will come with her rugs some tack and her boots , absolutely no loans ,lwtb no novices please or people looking to get back into riding after having years off if your looking for a plod she is not for u I wnat make sure she gets the right home so im not in a rush for her to go she is my everything and this is a difficult sale so please no time wasters . She is sold from the field will make someone a fantastic spring/summer project wont take long to bring her back into work .any more questions please feel free to ask ive been as honest as I can .
