Rusty – 18-Month-Old Loving, Playful Boy Looking for His Forever Home 💙 18 months old | House trained | Full of personality It breaks my heart to have to do this, but I’m looking for a forever home for my beautiful boy, Rusty. Rusty came to me a few months ago after my son’s friend could no longer care for him and was planning to dump him. I couldn’t bear the thought of him having nowhere to go, so I gave him a home. Unfortunately, despite trying our best, he doesn’t get along with my Shih Tzu, so for both dogs’ happiness I’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to find Rusty the loving home he truly deserves. Rusty is a gorgeous, affectionate boy with a huge personality. He’s still only 18 months old, so although he’s fully house trained, he still has lots of puppy energy. He loves to play, enjoys attention, and will happily be involved in whatever you’re doing. He can be hyper and does bark at times, so he’ll need someone who has the time and patience to continue his training and give him the exercise and mental stimulation he needs. In return, you’ll have a loyal companion who just wants to be loved and included as part of the family. I’d love to see Rusty go to an active home where someone has plenty of time for him. He would be best suited as the only dog, where he can have all the attention and continue to thrive. This isn’t a decision I’ve made lightly, and his new home is far more important than anything else. I simply want him to have the happy life he deserves.
