Kennel **FRIDSTAIL** is now offering our super tiny show quality Yorkshire Terrier male Filya for stud. Filya is KC registered with an excellent pedigree and quality champion bloodlines from around the world, including completely new Russian bloodlines in the UK. He is very small, weighing approximately 1.8 kg, with lovely short legs and a very compact body. He is a beautiful example of the breed, with a gorgeous head, very short muzzle and amazing silky coat. Filya has also been successfully shown at dog shows, where he has been very well received. Despite his tiny size, he presents himself beautifully in the ring and has a lovely confident temperament. His show experience is another reflection of his lovely breed type, quality and character. Filya is fully vaccinated, regularly wormed and vet checked. He is also health checked after every mating. He has been DNA tested for genetic diseases with all results clear. All of my dogs live with us in our home as part of the family. They are not kept outside in kennels, sheds or garden buildings. Mating I recommend worming your girl before mating. She must also be healthy and up to date with her vaccinations and worming. The stud fee includes two matings, usually around days 11 and 13 from the first day of her season. However, every girl is different, so if you choose to have progesterone blood testing done, we can arrange the mating according to the results. I would really appreciate it if you could let me know as soon as your girl’s season starts, even if you are not yet sure exactly which day you will be coming. During the mating you are welcome in a quiet, separate room and relax while everything is done. It normally doesn’t take longer than around 30 minutes. You are also very welcome to hold your girl if you prefer or if it’s necessary. Your girl will be treated with the same care and attention as my own dogs while she is with us. All matings are fully supervised and I will be there to assist as much as needed. Repeat mating In the unfortunate event that your girl does not become pregnant, one repeat mating will be offered free of charge on her next season. Proof that she has not become pregnant will need to be provided. This can be via a video call around the time she would have been due to whelp, or veterinary notes confirming that she is not pregnant. Fertility clinic notes or video of ultrasound scan are not accepted for this purpose. I am also always happy to offer advice where I can throughout the pregnancy, whelping and while the puppies are growing. The stud fee is payable on the first visit. Your girl does not need to be a show dog — pet and show Yorkshire Terriers are equally welcome. Yorkie-cross girls may also be considered, however I do not offer Filya for intentional crossbreeding with other breeds. We are based in South Yorkshire.
