Meet COOKIE, a delightful little Yorkshire Terrier with a big personality and an even bigger heart.
Cookie was originally bought by a family a few months ago, likely from a breeder, but sadly things did not work out in his previous home. He struggled to get along with their much older and smaller male dog, despite the family trying to manage the situation responsibly (including using a chemical castration implant).
Realising that the situation was not fair on either dog, they made the difficult but responsible decision to surrender Cookie to us, so that we can find him a home where he can truly thrive.
And what a little character he is… 💛

• Coat: Beautiful silky / slightly scruffy terrier coat
• Colour: Classic Yorkie tan, white and black markings
• Age: Young (Date of Birth : 08/05/2024)
Cookie is a typical lively Yorkshire Terrier — curious, intelligent and full of charm.
He absolutely adores people and quickly bonds with those around him.
He enjoys fuss, cuddles and being involved in whatever his humans are doing — whether that is relaxing on the sofa, playing with toys or heading out for a walk.
He also clearly enjoys looking smart… as you can see from his rather handsome bow tie modelling photos! 🎩

Adrian and the team at Friends inDEED have been wonderful. We were able to go meet our dog with her sisters and we were in frequent communication during the adoption, and since with updates etc. We were also provided with some food, and lent a harness & lead to bring her home. She has already been incredibly well trained for a rescue dog as we have had no toilet accidents and she is already wonderful on her lead.
