Description
Neil is a very good boy looking for a loving new home. This is an incredibly difficult decision, and he is deeply loved, so finding the right person is far more important to me than finding a quick home. Ideally, I’d love to keep in touch with his new owner and receive the occasional photo or update so I know he’s happy.
Neil is a free-roam indoor rabbit and must go to a home where he can continue to live indoors, with access to a safe outdoor area such as a secure garden or balcony. (Or bedtime outdoors/balcony with free roam in the house in the day time).
He currently has an open hutch outdoors and a whole inside area with another toilet, hay area and toys. He only wee’s in his litter pot inside and his one outside.
I think he’d suit:
- A single person or couple wanting a furry companion.
- A home with friendly pets. Neil has never met another rabbit, but he is very relaxed around dogs, so I believe he could potentially be bonded with another rabbit/cat/pet with the correct introduction process.
Neil is a very chilled, gentle boy. He has never bitten anyone, even in times of stress during his neutering. He doesn’t enjoy being picked up, so he wouldn’t be suitable for young children who want to cuddle him. He loves having his head and cheeks stroked the most, the only place he doesn’t enjoy very much is his back legs.
He’s not fussy with his food, he prefers the cheaper hay with flower petals and has excel mint for his breakfast) - but he is pretty chill with his food, his favourite veg is cucumber.
I have around 3kg of rabbit food and 3kg of litter for his toilet tray you can take with him
Neil’s adoption fee has been set deliberately to help protect him and ensure serious enquiries only. His welfare and finding the right forever home are my absolute priorities. However I am open to offers once contacted
