After a lot of thought, I've made the difficult decision to find a new home for my two much-loved cockatiels, Burb and Rodney. This isn't a decision I've made lightly, so I'm looking for the right home rather than a quick sale. Burb is my grey cockatiel. He's tame but likes his independence and isn't a fan of fingers! Once he's comfortable, he absolutely loves a good head scratch—but only when he decides it's time. He also has a very funny obsession with toes! Rodney is my white cockatiel. He's incredibly affectionate and loves being fussed. He's happiest sitting on his person's shoulder or lap, just watching the world go by while spending time with you. Both birds are tame and used to human interaction. They will come with their cage, toys and any food I have left. The most important thing to me is where they go. They must go to a home where they'll be let out of their cage every day to fly, explore and spend time with their people. They thrive on interaction, so they need someone who has the time and commitment to give them the attention they deserve. I'd also like them to stay together, as they've always been together, and I want a home that sees them as family. I don't want them going somewhere they'll simply be passed on to someone else a few months later.
