Description
Roy is a rough coated 3 year old brown eyed, blue merle border collie and is quite a big lad for his breed. He is an absolute all rounder, we live in Leeds so he is used to the hustle and bustle, we go on buses and trains and into the pub, no neorotic collie behaviours (car chasing, shadow chasing etc) he just takes it all in his stride. Roy is a working sheepdog dog as well and he absolutely loves it, he will happily work all day, gather the moor, great in lambing time and in the pens. He's got a great off switch and just wants to please you. He loves people/children/other dogs/very sensible with livestock, honestly has a temperament to die for, very smart and learns things quickly, typical collie trainability. He's calm in the house I dont have to keep him entertained at all hours, he's just super easy going. I have his mum as well and she is just as lovely and smart, she's my main working dog and I can do absolutely anything with her. 2 of his siblings are pets, one is doing really well at agility and the other 2 are successful working farm dogs. Hes not had a litter yet hence the price, but you are getting a great balance of working ability and pet suitability, smart without any scattiness. All health tests are clear, he is a carrier for cia (collie eye anomaly) which doesn't effect him or any pups, but does mean he will have to go to bitches who are clear Also given his colour no merle bitches or cryptic merles as this can lead to double merle puppies Feel free to message me with any questions
