Long hair miniature dachshund
Reggie’s ideal home:
Calm quiet household, possibly even a single person or older/retired person or couple.
Only dog or another dog of similar size and age, or older, that enjoys a slower pace of life.
Not spent any time around cats but I can’t see it being an issue.
Training:
House trained
Commands - here, sit, paw & lie down
Off lead recall although does need to be kept on lead in unfamiliar places and around bigger dogs
Sleeps in own bed within bedroom
Health:
Neutered and microchipped
No concerns or issues, record can be provided
Other things to know:
Shows mild separation anxiety with men
Reactive to people coming and going
Displays some resource guarding with high-value treats
All of which is currently being worked on and improving, but he does require someone that will continue working on these things.
