Meet Honey – (my daughter’s temporary name for this very special little girl)!
Honey is a beautiful female Chocolate Otter (aka brown!) Mini Lop, but she is a little different. She was born with only three legs and, as a result, has a slightly unusual walk.
But honestly, Honey doesn’t seem to have realised that she’s supposed to be different! ❤️
She is the liveliest rabbit in the litter, full of energy, incredibly inquisitive and bursting with personality. She gets around perfectly well in her own unique way and doesn't let her disability hold her back one little bit. Watching her charging around and getting involved with everything is genuinely heart-warming (Just look at the video on this listing).
Honey is one of only two kits in the litter, so she hasn't had to compete with lots of siblings for food or attention. As a result, she has grown into a strong, healthy and very confident little rabbit.
Most importantly, she has been raised as part of our loving family home, rather than simply being kept as a breeding animal. She is handled every day by my young children and is completely used to being fussed over, cuddled and given plenty of attention. She is a very friendly and well-socialised little rabbit.
When you come to meet Honey, you'll also get to see her with her mum, Muffin, and meet her dad, Biscuit – yes, there's a theme with the names! 😂 That's what happens when you let the kids name the rabbits!
I have bred rabbits on and off for many years as a hobby, but more recently we've done it so that our young children can experience the joy of raising and caring for baby rabbits. This isn't something we do for financial gain.
Because Honey is three-legged, I am looking for the right home rather than looking for money. She will be given FREE to a genuinely loving and suitable home. ❤️
I'm hoping to find someone who will see past her disability and give this incredibly special little girl the chance she deserves.
She really is a little character, and I have no doubt that whoever gives Honey her forever home will get an awful lot of love and personality in return. 🐰❤️
