CHOPSEY DOESNāT NEED SOMEONE TO PUSH HIM. HE NEEDS SOMEONE TO BELIEVE IN HIM.
Chopsey is still only a youngster, but heās a sensitive little soul who needs a particular kind of home.
The outside world can feel pretty scary to him.
He can walk on a lead, but right now walks are something he tolerates rather than enjoys. What Chopsey really loves is the security of home, a good-sized secure garden and, importantly, the company of another dog.
Because another dog makes a huge difference to this boy.
Chopsey needs to live with a friendly, confident resident dog who can help show him that the world isnāt quite as frightening as he thinks it is.
Heās gentle and incredibly sweet. He can be shy initially and needs time to build a bond, but underneath that uncertainty is a young dog with so much potential.
Heās toilet trained and has previously lived alongside several other dogs. Heās also neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and health checked.
For Chopsey, weāre looking for an experienced, patient adult-only home. Somewhere calm, with a large secure garden and someone who understands that success isnāt about how quickly they can get him walking around the neighbourhood.
It might start with feeling safe in the garden.
Then venturing a little further.
Then one day realising that the things that once frightened him aren't quite so frightening anymore.
Chopsey doesnāt need to become the bravest dog in the world.
He just needs someone prepared to help his world become a little bigger.
