🖤 BLACKBERRY – Our Beautiful Black & White Girl With Eyes That Melt You 🐾🤍
Born approximately 10 April 2026 | Female | Nearly 4 months old
Blackberry is one of Marinela's six beautiful puppies — six little lives that came frighteningly close to having no future at all.
Their mum, Marinela, was a stray, surviving on the streets of an unfriendly village and begging for food while raising her babies. One kind person was feeding her every day, but contacted us urgently when they learned that some local people wanted the little family gone — even if that meant poisoning their mother.
We couldn't take that risk.
The six puppies were brought to safety first, and soon afterwards we managed to catch Marinela too.
From that moment, Blackberry's life changed.
No more danger. No more wondering where the next meal would come from.
Instead, she has spent these precious early months growing, playing with her brothers and sisters, socialising with other dogs and discovering that humans can actually be rather wonderful. ❤️
🖤 Meet Blackberry
Blackberry is an absolutely delightful puppy.
She's playful, active and curious without being hyperactive, and she has a wonderfully affectionate nature.
Like her siblings, she enjoys her games and puppy adventures, but she's equally happy receiving attention and cuddles from people. She's growing up surrounded by dogs and has developed into a happy, sociable and well-balanced little girl.
There really isn't a great deal separating these six siblings temperamentally — and that's a compliment to every one of them.
They're simply very, very good puppies. ❤️
🐕 And she's quite a beauty...
Blackberry certainly didn't inherit Azalea's colouring!
She has a gorgeous jet-black, short and glossy coat, beautifully contrasted by her white muzzle and blaze, white chest and little white toes.
But it's her face that gets you.
She has enormous, warm brown eyes and a wonderfully expressive look — somewhere between innocent puppy and little mischief-maker. 😂
She's also becoming quite leggy and athletic, with a relatively fine frame rather than a heavy build.
With Marinela being a medium-sized mixed breed and Dad remaining a mystery, we can only guess at Blackberry's ancestry. Her appearance could suggest a Labrador/Collie-type mix, perhaps with some hound or terrier influence.
She is likely to grow into a medium-sized adult, although—as with any rescue puppy whose father is unknown—final size can't be guaranteed.
Whatever is in that family tree, Blackberry is one very pretty little dog. 🖤🤍

Blackberry is now:
✔ Fully vaccinated
✔ Microchipped
✔ Treated against internal and external parasites
✔ Ready to begin looking for her forever home
At almost four months old, she is naturally too young to be spayed, and this will need to be done when she reaches the appropriate age as part of her adoption conditions.
🏡 Blackberry's ideal family
We're looking for a family who wants not merely an adorable puppy, but the adult dog she will eventually become.
Blackberry will need all the usual continued puppy education: house training, walking nicely on a lead, socialisation, boundaries and plenty of positive experiences.
She already has a wonderful foundation.
She could happily share her home with a suitable friendly dog, although another dog isn't essential provided her humans have plenty of time to give her the companionship and interaction a young puppy needs.
And, of course, there must be plenty of cuddles.
Those are compulsory. 😂❤️
🖤 A little Blackberry looking for somewhere to grow...
She began life as one of six vulnerable babies born to a stray mum who was doing everything she could to keep them alive.
Four months later, look at her.
Safe. Healthy. Vaccinated. Loved. Full of life.
The only thing missing is the family who will one day look back at these puppy photographs and say:
"Can you believe she was ever that tiny?" 🥹
Blackberry has an entire lifetime ahead of her.
