Description
This listing is for 6 nymphs (1st and 2nd instar) of Phaenopharos khaoyaiensis, the long and beautiful stick insect from Thailand (otherwise known as the Giant Bud-Winged Stick Insect). Their most distinctive feature is the pair of small, vivid red “bud‑like” wings, which they flash when disturbed — a simple but effective startle display.
They are an easy species to rear at room temperature and feed on bramble, hawthorn, Hypericum, raspberry, oak, and beech. Growth is steady, moulting is reliable, and females reproduce parthenogenetically in culture, making them a dependable choice for both beginners and established breeders. A care sheet will be provided and there is plenty of care information readily available on the web.
£12 including first class postage for six healthy nymphs well packed with a box of bramble leaves for their journey.
