Looking after this beautiful boy for a friend who's fallen on hard times and can no longer keep him. He's a Cane Corso x Belgian Malinois/Greyhound/Saluki/Bull mix from an accidental litter who they did keep but unfortunately can no longer. Atreyu is 11 months old, we've flead and wormed him but I'm unsure on vaccinations (I can double check) and have switched him to raw food to help him put a bit of weight on. He is still intact due to his age. On first impressions he can be very apprehensive and shy but is soon won over with treats and reassurance. He likes other dogs a lot but proper introductions are necessary as he can be very overwhelmed quickly. Once he's settled though he's just a big bouncy puppy. He's an incredibly intelligent dog and is very eager to please. He's responded well to loads of positive reenforcment and is gaining confidence every day. Absolutely no use as a working dog but he's a fantastic deterrent dog and will fire up if somebody is too close to the home. Has lived with children, however, due to the fact he is nervous he would suit a home with teens and up. Not cat tested but he has bags of prey drive so I would rather he go to a home with either a savvy owner or somebody with no small pets. Ideally he would suit a young active couple and/or somebody who's at home a lot who has the time to bring him out of his shell. He has been passed around a lot lately so it would be great to get him into his forever home. We will be very selective to who he goes to. No time wasters, picture hunters or wannabe roadmen please.
