I had to click those options as he is just under 6months old.* Experienced Home Needed for Ice – A Loving Large-Breed Puppy Through no fault of his own, we are looking to rehome Ice. We have owned him since he was about 13 weeks old, but as he grows, it has become clear that he needs a home with deep experience in handling large, strong breeds. He is going to be a big lad—he already weighed 15kg on the 14th of September and is still growing rapidly. Personality & Behavior Underneath his size, Ice has a very loving nature and has never shown true aggression. However, he is still very much a baby and exhibits typical young-dog behaviors that need consistent boundaries: * Training Needs: He has a tendency to bark during the day and will still try to mouth/nibble on things. He needs someone who can be firm but fair to guide his manners. * Social Skills & Lead Walking: While he is currently very nervous and timid of the outside world when walking on a lead, he is incredibly sociable with other people and dogs when he meets them outside. He just needs patient, daily socialisation to build up his confidence with external environments. * Home Environment: He has never been crate-trained as he is content curling up on his bed or next to you. He sleeps well overnight, with only the occasional house-training accident. He has free roam of the downstairs and has never been allowed upstairs. * Separation: He is happy to be left alone for short periods (up to a maximum of around 4 hours) while you run errands. Ideal New Home Ice needs a dedicated owner who isn't away for long periods and who has a secure, enclosed garden for him to roam. Because he is at an age where he is testing boundaries and trying to assert himself, we strongly advise a home with no children under the age of 10. He currently lives with children aged 10, 12, and 14, but he needs an environment where his large size and strong breed traits can be properly managed. If you have verifiable experience with large breeds and have the time, patience, and confidence to help Ice reach his full potential, please get in touch with information about your home setup and lifestyle. The original breeder was contacted first to see if they could take him back. Unfortunately, due to their current circumstances, they are unable to take him at this time. Because of this, we are looking for a wonderful new home for him ourselves He is microchipped, flea’d & wormed regularly, vacc’s are all up-to date. He is on wainwright dry food. He will come with everything we have for him.
