Would anyone be interested in buying my x2 female Axolotls and setup?
Leucistic Axolotl (pink one) - around 4 years old
Copper axolotl (brown one) - around 2 and a half years old
This is with a heavy heart that I rehome our Axies, but unfortunately we just no longer have the room, and I am also finding it quite physically challenging keeping up with water changes etc for them due to my disabilities and with already having another large fish tank.
They’re the most uniquely, beautiful creatures and I will be genuinely sad to see them go.
What’s included:
- 110L jewel tank and stand
- All pond solutions extra large external filter
(Originally purchased new last year at £75)
- tank chiller in excellent condition (brought second hand last year for £70)
- shark dual air pump (brought new for £25)
- x2 disc air bubblers
- tank ornaments and caves
- metal feeding tongs
- digital underwater thermometer
- fine sand substrate
- siphon
Whoever does take on the axolotls must either have experience in keeping them already OR be willing to do a good amount of research beforehand as both of these axolotls were rescue axolotls and neither had the best start in life, but now they’re in excellent health. 🙂
I am asking for £120 for the whole lot or nearest offer.
I am willing to split up items potentially.
Axolotls must go together as have created a great bond and live happily together.

once set up they’re quite easy to care for - assuming that you can do fortnightly part water changes (which involves siphoning out 20-30% of water and replacing)
