English setter Alfie aged 4
A handsome well behaved setter who is a calm boy but keen to enjoy life. He is a small setter and weights 17kg.
He gets on great with people, kids and other dogs, not cat tested.
Housetrained, enjoys his food and sleeps quietly through the night.
He walks great on a harness and doesn't pull. Loves to meet other dogs and families when out on walks. Is good with people and children
His foster carer said he is an amazing boy and fitted into life in a home 🏡. Loves to go in the garden too.
Alfie is a perfect fit for a family with other dogs, as he's currently sharing his foster home with three others and gets along with them wonderfully. He can be an only dog if socialised when out on walks. He's also great with kids and enjoys a good snuggle session. While he can be a little shy at first, his loving personality quickly shines through.
He was diagnosed with Leishmaniasis, but please don't let this deter you. With an inexpensive daily pill and a low purine diet, this sweet boy can live a full and healthy life. Alfie is an absolute treasure who was saved from a pound just in the nick of time. His rescuers are forever grateful they could give him this second chance.
