Shadow is an incredibly lovely, friendly and affectionate boy who really needs to find the right home as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, we know very little about Shadow’s background before he ended up at a veterinary practice. He then spent around seven weeks living in a cage at the vets because nobody had space to take him. Eventually, with nowhere for him to go, he was at risk of being put to sleep.
Thankfully someone stepped in and offered him somewhere temporary, but unfortunately it has become very clear that Shadow absolutely cannot live with other cats.
He is wonderful with people — friendly and affectionate even with complete strangers — but he is very unhappy sharing his space with other cats and will chase, fight with and bite them. It’s causing a huge amount of stress for Shadow and the resident cats, so his current foster home simply isn’t somewhere he can stay long-term.
What Shadow really needs is a home where he can be the only pet, relax and have his people all to himself.
He’s already had lots of veterinary care and has been:
🐾 Neutered
🐾 Vaccinated
🐾 Blood tested
🐾 Microchipped
His veterinary records are available, and his microchip is currently still registered with the veterinary practice that cared for him.
Shadow has already spent far too long without somewhere he can properly call home. He’s such an affectionate boy with people, and in the right environment I really think he could make someone a wonderful companion.
We just need to find the person who can give him that chance. ❤️
