🐾 Meet Luna – Our Beautiful 1-Year-Old Chow Chow ❤️ With very heavy hearts, we are looking for a loving new home for our beautiful girl, Luna. This is an incredibly difficult decision for our family because we absolutely adore her, and we are genuinely heartbroken that she needs to go. We want to make sure that Luna goes to the right family who will love and care for her as much as we have. Luna is a 1-year-old Chow Chow with a lovely, funny and very typical Chow Chow personality. She is playful, full of energy and loves going out for walks and exploring. She is also very good and playful with children and enjoys being part of family life. Like many Chow Chows, Luna has a personality of her own. She can be extremely playful and energetic, but she also has that classic independent Chow Chow nature — she will play for a while, get bored, wander off and then come back ready to play again! She is affectionate in her own way and has lots of character. ❤️ About Luna: - 1-year-old Chow Chow - Very playful and full of energy - Great fun with children - Loves walks and exploring - Very protective of her family and home - Typical independent Chow Chow personality - Vaccinated - Healthy and well cared for - Toilet trained - She only likes to toilet outside, particularly on green grass - She isn't particularly food-motivated and tends to eat her main meal in the evening - She was shaved recently because of the unusually hot weather this year - She has lots of personality and will keep you entertained! Chow Chows are a special breed. They are intelligent, independent, loyal and naturally protective. They can form a very strong bond with their family and are wonderful companions for someone who understands and respects their character. They aren't always the type of dog who wants constant attention, but they have a unique way of showing affection and loyalty. Because Luna is a Chow Chow and has a strong personality, an experienced dog owner/handler, preferably someone with experience with Chow Chows or similar independent breeds, would be ideal for her. We want her new owner to understand the breed and give her the time, patience, exercise, boundaries and love she needs. This is not an easy rehoming decision for us at all. Luna is part of our family, and our priority is finding her a safe, loving and permanent home rather than simply finding her a new owner.
