Description
We are very sadly looking to rehome our two much-loved dogs due to an overseas relocation. This has been an extremely difficult decision for our family. They are very bonded, so they will only be rehomed together.
Both dogs are great with children and have been raised in a busy family home. We are approved foster carers, so they are used to different people in the home and have always been gentle and affectionate with the children in our care.
Red – Chinese Red Dog, 2.5 years old (Female, unneutered)
Red is a very intelligent and affectionate dog who loves attention. She knows basic commands and would likely excel with further training and someone who has the time to continue working with her. She is alert and will bark when someone approaches the house. She can pull on the lead when walking, but this is improving with consistency.
Frank – Italian Spinone, 5 years old (Male, neutered)
Frank is a relaxed, gentle boy who enjoys lounging around and being close to his people. He knows simple commands and has a very sweet nature. His full breeding is known.
About them both
• Both are large breed dogs (35kg+)
• Very affectionate and love human company
• Great with children
• Very well house trained
• They do not jump up at people
• They do not take food from kitchen surfaces
• No food aggression
• They have never been left for long periods and are used to having people around
• House dogs but enjoy being outdoors
• Currently have access to around 1.5 acres, so they are used to plenty of space
• Would suit a rural or country home with lots of outdoor access
• Secure fenced garden essential
• Up to date with vaccinations and worming
Both breeds have a high prey drive, so while we keep chickens, they must be securely fenced as the dogs will chase/kill poultry if they have access.
They will come with all bedding, blankets, bowls, leads, and any food we have at the time of rehoming.
This decision has not been taken lightly and our priority is finding them a safe, loving home where they will continue to thrive.
Homes will be carefully vetted and we will prioritise homes that can offer space, time, and experience with active breeds. A small rehoming fee will apply to ensure serious enquiries only.
