Friendly, affectionate, and well-mannered, he is great with children and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He has been raised around livestock and is reliable with them, with the exception of sheep — he enjoys chasing them but does not harm them. Because of this, a home without sheep would be essential.He has excellent recall and is mostly walked off lead. He is very well exercised and is used to 5–10 miles of walking per day, so he would thrive in an active home that can continue to meet his physical and mental needs.
