Description
Raya is my female dogue de bordeaux cross neapolitan mastiff girl. Unfortunately my home circumstances have changed drastically and i am having to home both my dogs, Raya being one of them.
She is a lovely calm and affectionate girl who is quick to learn and has been the easiest dog ive ever owned. She is fully house trained and is good with other dogs and children. (I have 3, youngest 10)
She has great recall and can be walk off lead. Raya can be nervous with loud noises when out walking but is getting better with exposure to trucks and bikes.
Raya hates cardboard boxes and barks at them 🤣
Raya plays fetch and will drop the ball for you. She can sit and give paw and understands commands well. Honestly she is a pleasure. Such a gentle dosile girl, indicative of the bordeaux breed.
Raya has some filling out to do and has reached her full height, however is starting to spread now to get her natural wider frame and head.
I am looking for a forever home for her, someone able to give her the time she needs. Raya was use to me working from home and needs someone who possibly is home regulary or retired, suited to an older relaxed house hold who can spoil her. She doesnt pull on the lead and will sit and wait for command for food patiently.
Want someone who has the patience to transition her slowly over a few meetings before taking her home and willing be to keep in touch.
5* home only, garden a must. She is use to garden access when wanted.
Raya loves recieving cuddles and also gives them, she will flop her head on your lap and nuzzle against you. She loves her toys and holds one to greet you every time with pure exitement and wiggly bums.
Shes loves to eat and is currently on a mixture of raw and Ava complete large breed.
Raya doesnt like long walks much, she much prefers few shorter walks and usually wants to go home after 30 minutes.
She loves a snooze on the sofa and a belly rub.
Due to her age she isnt yet spayed, vet advised 24 months, however may revisit this and spay before rehoming as i dont want her to go to a breeding home, pet home only wanted.
I have honestly no choice in needing to rehome my dogs, but this doesnt mean i am in a rush. I wont give her over to just anyone. Age 40+ owners are preferred. Someone who wants a dog to love as a family member.
Raya is an indoor dog and wouldnt cope as a garden kennel dog. She wouldnt cope long periods alone during the day and will cause her seperation anxiety, hence suited to retired or home worker household.
No current medical issues, no food allergies, good breathing and health, happy to get report from our vet for new owner.
Happy to explain situation to the right person so they can understand the fault is not with Raya, but the life circumstances that have come out of left field, forcing this heart breaking decision, this is not just fluff to sell her, i am genuinely gutted and i adore her. She needs the best. She has so much love to give and recieve.
Happy to answer any questions. No time waters because this is hard enough.
