Description

Unfortunately I am needing to rehome our family dog. I have had him since he was 7 weeks old and he is extremely loving and affectionate and has a huge attachment to me. He’s brilliant with children and other animals and is a brilliant dog! He loves to cuddle and play and be everywhere that I am which I am sure he will do with his new owner too. He has been used to me going out to work since the get go and as a result is okay to be left alone for up to 5 hours max, he’s not destructive at all and is fully toilet trained. He will follow commands at home but he has a lot of staffy in him and can be very stubborn! If he is sent to bed he will drag it out as long as possible before getting in there. On a walk he is a puller so is walked using a halti, this is the only solution I have found effective for him as he is too stubborn to learn from anything else. I only let him off lead in quiet wooded areas because he is so interested in sniffing that he’s not looking ahead meaning I’m able to easily put his lead back on should anyone be nearby. He is super friendly with everyone we meet however he will not respond to recall so for his own safety is kept on the lead around others. He’s on a dry food diet with dog treats only as he has a sensitive stomach to other foods, although he is definitely partial to stealing the cat’s food too! He is still in tact, he has not been neutered because he is very anxious at the vets, he does not become aggressive at all but he tries to escape. Due to his behaviour being as good as it is, the vets recommended not neutering him so that his fear isn’t made any worse. Any questions at all please do ask.
