We do, because that is exactly how Peggy and Aladdin found each other.
Peggy and Aladdin come from very different beginnings. Aladdin arrived from Romania and Peggy from Spain and they both experienced very different lives before coming into our care. But at a scary and uncertain point in both of their journeys, they found exactly what they needed in each other.
When Peggy arrived she was nervous and unsure of the world and still trying to work out who she could trust. One thing was clear though, she wanted a dog friend! Someone to follow and feel safe beside. At the same time, Aladdin had just watched his dog friends leave for their new homes and was starting to explore the world more on his own.
From the first time we took them out together, it felt right. They
moved through new situations side by side and lifted each other when confidence dipped. When one feels unsure, the other steps closer, and somehow things feel less frightening.
Aladdin once found leads and harnesses terrifying and now happily bounces towards his and walks to the field with excitement. Peggy was very nervous of human touch when she arrived and now makes sure she is always included in the fuss, especially if Aladdin is getting attention đ
Individually they are wonderful dogs, but together they are inseparable. We know they could find separate homes and make new friends, but we truly believe there is something special about this bond and we would love to see them continue their journey together â¤ď¸
