Hi. Thank you for taking the time to take a look at our Babies. We have owned APH for over 10 years and still totally obsessed about them. First they are our family, loved dearly. When we do have babies available we want the best homes for them. A home that has time for them even when life gets busy. We go through the required setup to keep them safe. The correct housing and heat setup is crucial. So is the wheel which is so important for their stress and exercise. Please do not purchase just any wheel. It has to be a wide, flat running surface. Tic Tac wheels can be purchased online or through their Facebook page. Bonding can take time but our babies are well socialised and handled a few times throughout the day. They are used to a noisy home. All ready to fit into their new families. We run through Care, food, enrichment and handling. We spend around an hour with our new Hedgie parents so that you know how to handle them and what they like best. Are they spiky ? Yes they have sharp quills. So at times they can be spiky, especially when woken up, quilling. They also lay their quills down so they aren’t spiky. We will send you our Care sheet and any other questions you have. Please don’t rush into purchasing just any equipment because many times it can be wrong. We have a shopping list so you know exactly what is needed. We also can make you safe, hidden seam beds, tunnels & pouches. Safe toys and bath sets. We also have our own kibble mix available. They will leave us with some food and a snuggle blanket.
