Their space is carefully maintained, disinfected regularly, and cleaned daily in our family home. Comprehensive Health & Genetic Testing Both parents have undergone comprehensive health testing and are N/N (clear) for the main genetic diseases affecting the Maine Coon breed, including: * HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy) * SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) * PKDef (Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency) Each kitten leaves our home with proof that both parents are genetically clear, The best way to rule out mum or dad as well as our kittens don’t have any heart problems is by Echocardiogram: This is the gold standard. Performed by a vet or a veterinary cardiologist, it directly measures heart wall thickness to check for muscle enlargement.
