Meet Blue, our adorable family pet. You'll see from the photographs Blue has a nice life, he's up until recently always been an amazing, well mannered dog. Blue was separated from his litter at a very early age and lacked basic skills, such as excessive mouthing and not knowing how to behave with other dogs in a polite way.
He has had extensive behaviour training by a professional since being very young to help balance him following the separation from his litter young. He walks well on a lead, sits on command and lays down, understands all commands and is obedient.
He has lately started to resource guard when on the furniture so we have stopped him accessing the sofa etc, with the resource guarding he has started to snap out. We worked with the behaviouralist we've had since he was young again to help with this and she talked us through ways to help with that. Which we can share.
Sadly, over the last few weeks when having guests, Blue did get nervous and bit out at them. We have young children and these new behaviours are making us too nervous to keep him. I do believe with patience and training he will continue to be an excellent pet.
This needs to be someone experienced with dogs, patient to his training needs to help with these new traits. Suggest he's best in a quiet home and with no children. He's great with other dogs, we have a Jack Russell and they get on great.
This website insists on a minimum price of £75
but that isn’t a consideration for us. I will ask questions if you contact me as I do need to make sure he's going somewhere he will be loved and looked after. It's a heartbreaking situation.
