All the daftness of a boxer and the energy and stamina of a husky. Sam needs someone who has time for her, someone who has lots of patience and is willing to teach her some manners! My son was doing a friend a favour by looking after the dog while the friend's partner had a baby. Time dragged on and it was clear that the dog (Sam) was never going to be collected 😪 My son looked after her, registered her at the vet under his name and we even paid for kennels when my son went on holiday. He's grown to love Sam, but due to work commitments, doesn't have the time available that she needs and it's unfair on her. To make matters worse, my son has just moved into a tiny caravan and Sam deserves better. She has great potential but really needs training and discipline. She's very excitable and jumps up when she sees you, until she calms down. She has lived with a cat for the past 10 months, but I wouldn't advise her being around small children until she learns not to jump up. She really is a furry nutcase, but I think that may be the boxer in her. As I said previously, she really has the potential to be a super dog, but she really needs to find HER person.
