Description
We are delighted to announce the pregnancy of our Working Cocker Spaniel Peggy, her pups are due on or around the 12th July 2026.
Both parents have incredibly strong blood lines, are KC registered.
Please note at this stage we are not taking any deposits for the puppies but do welcome people registering their interest and requesting a place on a waiting list which we will manage on a first come first served basis providing we are confident that each pup is going to a caring and loving home. Peggy recently had a scan and is expecting 6 puppies, possibly 7 two of which are already reserved by previous purchasers of her mums last litter, which is testament to the great care we provide every litter and the bloodlines we select.
You can register your preferences on colour/sex or both.
Once the puppies have arrived safely and the relevant health checks etc have been conducted, we will make contact to supply photos of the pups, arrange visits, confirm purchase, and take a deposit.
A little about the parents
Dad is a 2 -year-old working cocker spaniel and is Chocolate and Tan in colour as shown in the picture. He belongs to the Duke of Westminster game keeper and is a hard-working cocker with a lovely temperament. He is a keeper's dog that works a lot of days beating and picking up. He has outstanding breeding lines in his pedigree and is fully health tested and proven. He has fathered several successful litters.
Peggy is our black working cocker spaniel who is 5 years old, she is solid black in colour as shown in the pictures. Like the father Peggy is from an outstanding breeding line is KC registered and has the relevant health checks in place. Peggy is a pet and does not undertake any working duties but has a lovely temperament, is fantastic with children and has brought nothing but joy to our home. We have full history on her pedigree. She is the Grand daughter of a Whaupley Gun Dog, which can be checked out on google, you will see her grandfather is one of very few field trial winners. The litter could produce colours including golden, chocolate, black, tan and chocolate and tan, these are all colours she has produced in a previous litter.
As outlined both parents are from incredibly strong blood lines, and are without any heath concerns or issues.
Both parents are of a smaller shorter frame.
The prices advertised reflects the quality of the bloodline and the time and care we put into our litters. Many of our previous purchasers have returned for a second pup or recommended us to friends and family. If you are purchasing on price we are probably not the breeders for you and we appreciate there are cheaper alternatives. Our waiting lists usually exceed the number of pups available and we select on a first come first served basis but also take into account the information we receive from prospective buyers. Once you have selected and reserved your new puppy the journey starts from that moment, we will provide regular updates via WhatsApp including images and video of your new family members progress right up to the day you collect your new puppy and take them to their forever home. A video call will be arranged with you to reserve your puppy after birth, we also arrange a visit at 4 weeks of age, which is a great opportunity for you to meet your puppy for your first time, we do not do in person visits until after 4 weeks old to ensure the puppies safety, and to reduce the risk of any potential diseases being brought into the home.
All the puppies will come fully vet checked, with 1st vaccinations, microchipped and with relevant KC paperwork. Please note we do not hold a gun licence and therefore the dog’s tails will not be docked.
