Description
NEW PICTURS !!!
One of the most popular aquarium breeds, the Koi angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare) is an angelfish originating from the Amazon of Peru and Ecuador. Similar to all angelfish, the Koi angel is a peaceful fish with a beautiful appearance and a life span of up to 10-15 years. The Koi angelfish stands out due to its mottled black, white, yellow, and orange coloring. They have a slender body, reaching approximately 15-20 centimeters in length.
Habitat
The water temperature should be between 76 - 86 degrees Fahrenheit with a pH of approximately 6.5 -7.4. Moderate water flow is also necessary for the Koi angelfish along with medium-grade smooth gravel. The tank for a Koi angelfish should be at least 30 gallons for an individual, and higher than 30 gallons if there are more than one Koi angelfish in the tank.
