This is extremely difficult. Delly, short for Delilah is a little lap dog who enjoys her kisses. Personal space isn't something she recognises as a problem, well its not her problem anyway 😅 I won't sugar coat it, she does have small dog syndrome and will bark at other dogs who are enjoying there strolls on walks or even when they dare to have the audacity to walk past her window! She is a little shadow, where ever you are she will be behind you. She is good with children and enjoys to lick them also. Licking is her passion. Now the reason we are having to find a new home is she needs to be the only dog or potentially housed with a male. She does actually get on with my mums dogs who are male and females but she understands the pecking order there and is extremely submissive however with other dogs her age or younger when she is in season she attacks them and im assuming is just trying to make sure shes the queen bee. Planned to get her spayed until she's had a huge falling out with her little sister who also came on her season at the same time - before then they was best friends. They have to be totally separated now as she starts on her all the time and unfortunately it causes a massive fight and is dangerous. She can be left on her own, isn't destructive and will actually let you know if another dog or cat is doing something they shouldn't- this has earned her the nickname Karen but its pretty handy. Fully house trained, eats 2 meals a day enjoys snacks & treats. Shes a sofa dog, has had many dog beds but the sofa or your lap is her bed oh, and your head is her favourite place to sleep.
