🐾 Meet Duke – 9-Month-Old Jack Russell Looking for a Loving Home 🐾
We're sadly looking for a wonderful new home for our lovely boy Duke, a handsome black and tan, short-coated Jack Russell, born on 18 January 2026.
Duke is an affectionate, energetic little boy with lots of personality who loves attention and being involved in everything!
He's currently going through his teenage phase, so he's a little all over the place at times! He's curious, enthusiastic, still testing boundaries and learning his manners. His training is ongoing, and he'll need someone with patience, consistency and an understanding of young terriers.
Duke currently lives with our other dog and enjoys her company, although he can be a little too enthusiastic and doesn't always realise when she's had enough and needs her own space. He may initially bark when meeting other dogs, but generally settles once he's comfortable.
Ideally, we're looking for someone who is home regularly and has the time to give him the guidance and companionship he needs.
Our other dog is now expecting puppies, and with Duke's teenage energy and his constant attempts to interact with her, she's finding things a little overwhelming. We feel it would be best for both of them to find Duke a home where he can receive the individual attention and training he deserves.

We would love for Duke to go to someone familiar with the breed, who understands that he's still a young dog learning about the world. He could potentially live with another compatible dog or be an only dog with plenty of human companionship.
Finding the right home is far more important to us than anything else. We want Duke to be loved, understood and given the opportunity to grow into a wonderful adult dog.
