Description

Fernando is looking for a very particular and special home. He is our beloved pet and it is with great sadness that we have come to the realisation that he needs more from life than we can give him. He’s been with us since he was 3 months old, after living in a room on his own by previous owner whose cats wouldn’t leave him alone. We don’t know what they did to him but he’s always been hand shy & he’s only just getting over that now. He sleeps in a cage at night (his choice), and is free roam of our apartment during the day. He gets on well with all animals, his best friend was a rabbit but sadly she passed leaving him depressed. Our dog absolutely adores him and follows him everywhere. Negatives: he screeches ALOT, most likely because he’s bored or needs company of another bird (or house rabbit) or someone who has time for him 24/7. Positives: he’s very sweet and will cuddle into your neck, make nests in your hair & will give kisses. I feel very sad even thinking of letting him go but if it will make him happier I am willing to do that for him. He needs a parrot experienced home, no first timers please. He needs someone with lots of time for him - or an aviary with lots of parroty friends. If you think you could offer him a home like this please get in touch.
