Description

Callie is a gorgeous 6-month-old Border Collie x Australian Shepherd (18kg). She's clever, trusting, task-oriented and loves a routine. We've loved having her, but she needs more time and training than our household can give, so we're looking for the right home for her. She is clean in the house (toilets only in the garden), calm and settled in her crate, and quick to learn. She knows sit, down, paw and more. She's happy around children with supervision. She isn't a beginner's dog, though. She pulls on the lead, is moderately reactive to cars and bikes, and is still mouthy and jumpy as a puppy. She needs a patient owner who will keep up the training. Ideal home: Border Collie or herding-breed experience, or solid dog-training experience. A secure, fully fenced garden. Someone home most of the day. A commitment to ongoing training. Included: vaccinated, microchipped (Home Again), PetPlan cover transferable, vet records, crate, bed, bowls, leads, harnesses, toys and food. Not yet spayed (our vet advises waiting until after 12 months). Rehoming fee: £800. Collection only (Southend/Essex). Please message with a short note about your experience, home and routine. A deposit secures her after a visit. We're hoping to rehome her within 2–3 weeks, but the right home matters most.
