Buzz is about 1 year old, and is possibly a Dutch Shepherd dog. He is a wonderfully lively and intelligent boy who loves humans. He will need an experienced guardian. Sadly, we cannot home him with other dogs, cats or children as we do not know his history. However, dog-savvy older teenagers may be fine - if you apply, we will consider this option.
Buzz is super friendly with all the new people he meets in kennels (both men and women), and he loves playing with you! He's clearly eager to learn and use his brain, and will make an absolutely wonderful companion after some training has been put into place.
He is great on the lead, and he'll love having plenty of exercise with you. In fact, he'll be a marvellous dog to accompany you on your daily walks. He may even enjoy some dog based activities like Man-Trailing or Cani-cross. However, we think he'd also love lots of cuddly times too.
We haven't seen any sign of a prey drive in him at the kennels. He's also a bit unfit due to his previous life experience, and so he doesn't have a whole lot of stamina as yet.
He is very happy to settle down with a Kong/lickmat after his morning walk.
This boy has so much potential under the right direction, though - he's very much stolen hearts at the kennels!
Sadly, Buzz was left abandoned in a property by his previous guardians after they were evicted from it. The Housing Association inspected the property quite soon after the eviction was completed, thankfully, and so Buzz was found quite soon after his abandonment. Then, the fabulous team at the kennels, where so many of our Amicii dogs have been cared for, offered him accommodation and care until his new people could be found.
