Description
Bruno is 6 years old (DOB 1/8/2020) and a Jura Hound. He is 31kg, 50cm high (floor to withers) & 60cm long (base of neck to base of tail).
Bruno was found in a pound in Northern Spain and he had been there over a year. More than likely a failed hunting dog that had been abandoned or was a stray. He has tested negative for Mediterranean diseases including Brucellosis.
Bruno is in foster care in Northamptonshire and he is living with cats. He is a friendly boy who likes people. He can live another dog but not a dominant dog. He might favour living with a female dog. He can live as an only dog as he is now with human company and he is not left often.
Bruno is an active boy who needs to be walked on a regular basis to burn off his energy but he also likes to have a lovely rest at home. He is a strong boy but he is manageable on the lead. He loves a good walk. He does not travel very well in the car before being walked as he is so nosy. He will lay down after the walk in the car.
Please message if you are interested with information about your family, ages of everyone in the home, existing pets & work hours. All enquiries will be looked at. We only rehome to England, Wales & Scotland where we have full rescue backup. Other locations are not possible including Ireland.
Please note: We are looking for a secure garden with fencing or walls to a minimum of 5ft. We also need the dogs to be kept on a lead, long lunge lead or for people to use enclosed fields for off lead exercise as these dogs are scent hounds & have hunting backgrounds.
We do not rehome with children under 8 years old.
