Hello, Please read the full advert before making contact. It’s with a heavy heart I’m looking to re-home my male 13 month old cocker spaniel. Family circumstances and his behaviour has caused me to take this decision A little about Reggie. He’s 13 months old All vaccines are up to date He is microchipped Has the implant to mimic castration which is due to ware off in September. Reggie is a loving dog who loves nothing more than a cuddle and a ball. He’s house trained and doesn’t make any mess. Loves to run off with your socks or pants in his month and sleep at the end of your bed at night. He does seam to prefer the presence of females over males but will happy give affection to both. Now for the not so great part. Reggie is very needy always wants to be by your side and have your attention Reggie refuses to be groomed to the point where I’ve resorted to getting drugs from the vets to slightly sedate him to allow the groomer to cut him. This helps slightly. He doesn’t allow you near his feet without him raising his lips and growling then proceeds to snap. He’s a very loving dog but on his own terms I’m ideally looking for a home with someone who will be with him all day and give him the attention and further training he requires. He’s great with other dogs and children I have a dog walker that comes in 4 times a week to take Reggie on group walks which he loves. Experience with the breed is a MUST! Preferably another cocker spaniel within the house hold If you think you have what it takes to take on Reggie and offer him a new beginning please get in touch.
