Donky was given up alongside his brother, Monky, and thankfully they both found their way into one of the shelters we work closely with. Donky is a beautiful, medium-sized Boxer mix and an absolute ray of sunshine. He is sociable, affectionate, playful and active, and he loves being around people. He’s happiest when he’s with his humans and would love to be part of a family where he can be involved in everyday life. He is good with other dogs, but he could also happily live as the only dog in the home. In fact, he would probably be very happy being the centre of someone’s world and having all the attention to himself! With people, Donky is calm and gentle. He is currently walking nicely on his lead and is already showing us that he’s a clever boy – he even does a very cute little sit! He is eager to learn and, with some continued guidance and positive training, we think he will be a real pleasure to work with. Donky is good with children, although he can be a little clumsy and boisterous when he gets excited, so he would be best suited to a home with older children. He hasn’t been tested with cats yet, but a cat test can be arranged if needed. Donky is a happy, loving and playful boy who would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for an affectionate, fun-loving dog who simply wants to be part of his people’s lives.
