**Teddy – 2-Year-Old Maltese Bichon Looking for His Forever Home ❤️** It is with an extremely heavy heart that we are looking for a loving new home for our beautiful boy, Teddy. Teddy is a 2-year-old Maltese Bichon who has been part of our family since he was just 6 weeks old. We have raised him from a puppy and he is a very special member of our family, which makes having to find him a new home an incredibly difficult decision. Unfortunately, due to a change in our personal circumstances, we are no longer able to give Teddy the time, attention and stability that he needs and deserves. We want to do what is best for him and find him a home where his needs can be properly met. Teddy is a very playful, affectionate and loving boy. He has a big personality and loves attention, cuddles, playing and spending time with his people. He can be very sweet and funny once he feels comfortable with you, and he forms strong bonds with the people he trusts. We do want to be completely honest about Teddy's needs so that we can find the right home for him. Teddy is an anxious dog, particularly around other dogs and when left alone. He suffers from separation anxiety, so he can struggle when his owner leaves him and would not be suitable for a home where he would regularly be left alone for long periods. He needs someone who has the time and patience to help him gradually build confidence and feel secure. He can also be anxious around other dogs, so we feel he would be happiest as the only dog in the household. Teddy is not neutered. His ideal home would be with someone who is patient, understanding and willing to give him the time he needs to settle. Someone who is around for most of the day and can provide him with a consistent routine would be particularly suitable. We believe Teddy would benefit from an owner who understands anxious dogs and is willing to work with him calmly and positively rather than expecting him to adjust immediately. We are not looking to rush Teddy into a new home. Having had him since he was 6 weeks old, this is heartbreaking for us, and finding the right person is far more important than finding someone quickly. We want to make sure his next home is genuinely suitable and that he can stay there permanently. Teddy deserves someone who will be patient with him, understand his anxiety, give him lots of love and reassurance, and treat him as part of the family.
