🐾 A very special companion home is needed for a very special little girl. 🐾 Please read Mabel’s story in full. ❤️ Mabel is a beautiful young, 1-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who was born with a congenital defect affecting her back legs. Things simply aren’t quite where they should be, which has left her as our wonderfully wonky little girl. 🥰 She walks and runs in her own unique way and, despite her little legs being different, she manages remarkably well. She can climb steps and even jump up onto her favourite chair! Mabel is a very small, almost toy-sized girl, but don’t let her size fool you — she has a huge diva personality and a mind of her own! 😂 She knows what she wants and she certainly isn’t afraid to let you know. She has been seen by four different vets, including an orthopaedic specialist, and they have all advised the same thing: her legs should not be operated on or interfered with, as this could potentially make things worse for her. Mabel is happy, comfortable and manages very well just as she is. She enjoys going out for walks, although she cannot manage long distances. When we are out for longer periods, she has a doggy pram for when she gets tired, or I carry her when needed. Mabel currently lives happily with other dogs and a cat. She absolutely adores my visiting grandchildren and, given the choice between them and me, she would choose the grandchildren every time! ❤️ We are looking for a quieter, loving home where someone is around for much of the time and would genuinely enjoy having Mabel as a companion. A home with another small, friendly dog and/or a cat could be lovely for her, although she would also be perfectly happy as the only pet. This little girl is incredibly special and deserves someone who will love her exactly as she is, understand her limitations, and appreciate all the personality and love she has to give. ❤️ If you think you could be the perfect person for Mabel, please get in touch for a chat and, if it feels right, come and meet this very special little lady.
