Description
We are overjoyed to announce the arrival of our beautiful British Shorthair kittens, born on 30th July 2026. Our queen and her kittens have been doing wonderfully, and we are now looking for loving, forever homes for these precious bundles of fluff.
We have four chocolate British Shorthair kittens looking for their permanent homes: two boys and two girls.
They are Brioche, Soufflé, Mousse and Tartine. All four are chocolate, although Brioche is a noticeably lighter shade than the others.
They have very individual personalities already, but they are all confident, curious, playful and loving. Tartine is the bravest of the group and definitely the most fearless. They are used to being handled and picked up and are also happy entertaining themselves and exploring together.
How they have been raised:
The kittens have been raised entirely indoors in our ground-floor flat in West London. They have stayed with their mum from birth and also live with their dad, so both parents can be met when you visit.
This is an adults-only home, but we have made a point of giving the kittens regular contact with other people from a young age. Friends visit us regularly, usually one or two people at a time, so the kittens have become used to people outside our household as well as us. Some of our friends work in animal medical care and have also spent plenty of time handling and socialising them.
They are used to normal household life, are fully litter trained and use their scratching posts.
They are currently fed Purrform raw food. We are happy to start a gradual transition onto Lily's Kitchen before they leave if their new family would prefer not to continue with raw feeding.
Mum and dad:
Both parents are our own British Shorthairs and live with us.
Mum is chocolate. She is curious and brave, with a strong character, but is also a very calm cat.
Dad is blue and has an exceptionally calm, kind and patient nature.
Both parents are GCCF registered and have been PKD tested and blood group tested. Their paperwork will be available to see when visiting.
The kittens will be GCCF registered on the non-active register and are being sold as pets, not for breeding.
Health and veterinary care:
All four kittens have had a veterinary health check and are doing well.
They have received their first vaccination and will have their second vaccination and another full health check before leaving us. They have been wormed and flea treated as appropriate and we will continue their preventative care while they remain with us.
They are already microchipped.
They will not be neutered before leaving, so neutering at the appropriate age will be the responsibility of their new owner.
The kittens will stay with us until they are 15 weeks old and will be ready to leave from around 12 November 2026.
Each kitten will leave with their GCCF paperwork and vaccination records, information about their routine and care, and a blanket and toy carrying familiar smells from home. If a kitten has been moved onto Lily's Kitchen before leaving, we will also provide some of their current food.
We will always be available for advice after they leave us. We would like their new owners to feel able to contact us throughout the kitten's life if they ever have a question or concern.
The homes we are looking for:
Our main priority is finding responsible, permanent homes for them.
The kittens are strictly for indoor homes. Homes with children, other cats or dogs may be suitable, depending on the household and introductions.
Before agreeing to a new home, we would like to know a little about you, who lives in your household, any other pets you have and your normal routine. We will also arrange a video call so that we can see the home the kitten will be living in.
The kittens must be collected from us in SW6, West London. We do not offer delivery or courier collection.
A deposit will be required to reserve a kitten once we are both happy to go ahead. The deposit is non-refundable.
