TICA Registered Ragdoll Queen – Potential Breeding Home 🐾
We are looking for a very special new home for our beautiful Kiwi, an 18-month-old TICA-registered Ragdoll queen.
Kiwi is an active breeding queen who has not yet had her first litter. She comes from excellent stock, combining European and British Ragdoll lines, with a strong pedigree and beautiful colouring. Both of her parents were health assessed, including relevant genetic testing.
Kiwi has a sweet, gentle and loving temperament, although she can initially be a little shy. She has always been an indoor cat and is fully vaccinated and regularly treated for worms.
We are a registered home-based Ragdoll breeder in Wiltshire, and Kiwi currently lives alongside our three other queens. Although the girls generally live together happily, Kiwi has struggled to form a comfortable relationship with one of our other cats. After a great deal of thought, we have therefore made the difficult decision to find her a smaller, quieter home where we believe she will thrive—ideally as the only cat or as part of a small cat household.
This is particularly difficult because Kiwi has not yet been bred and has considerable potential as a breeding queen. However, her long-term happiness and welfare have to come first.
Breeding home preferred. We would particularly welcome enquiries from an established TICA-registered breeder. We would also consider the right person who is serious about beginning a responsible Ragdoll breeding programme.
For context, kittens from the same litter as Kiwi have sold for approximately £1,200 per kitten. As a breeding queen, a typical litter could be around four kittens, although litter size can of course vary and cannot be guaranteed. Our breeding approach would be limited to no more than one litter per year, with the queen’s health and welfare always taking priority.
For somebody new to breeding, we are happy to provide remote mentoring and support for the first six months, including guidance around mating, pregnancy, birth, kitten care and the practicalities of responsible breeding.
Kiwi will only go to a carefully selected home where her welfare will remain the priority. Genuine enquiries are very welcome, and we are happy to discuss her pedigree, health history and breeding background in more detail.
