Description
Two Black & Tan girl puppies available.
All four puppies are gorgeous and all female. Three black & tan with a small white bib, (very similar to the dam and sire) and one black & white with tan. The parents both work in picking up teams, are very affectionate, energetic when working and biddable. The parents are also very steady and calm so puppies will also make very good family pets.
The dam Laxford Zabaletta (Hattie), is a beautiful dog with great energy and is a fast, keen retriever. She is also very affectionate, a good team member of my picking up team and like our other dogs, is comfortable both in the house or in kennel. Hattie’s previous litter pups have proved a great success in both the working and agility fields.
The sire is Countryways Sage. Sage is black, white and tan with a long slender body, lots of swinging action and with low head carriage. He is a great retriever, has impeccable temperament, manners and unbelievable loyalty following the same traits of his father, FTAW Countryways Knight (Beetle). Sages’ mother, Chyknell Harrier, is from one of Joe Shotton’s top champion of champion lines. He has created some show stopping progeny throughout his years, and he has produced excellent puppies full of life, buzz and endless caring nature.
Both dogs have outstanding pedigrees, verified health tests including good hips, elbows as well as clear BVA Eye scheme tests. The dam had a recent eye test on the 20th February 2026 which can be seen. They have also been matched to produce a lower COI (Coefficient of Inbreeding) puppies.
The puppies have been bred to be athletic with stamina, they will also be biddable and adaptable with very affectionate natures. The puppies have been docked (as they have been bred for working) but they will also be suitable for an active family household and fun agility.
We are also a Five Star Registered Breeder which should give prospective owners confidence that they have been well cared for and responsibly bred.
Hattie has being wormed pre and post whelping. This is to ensure minimal worm burden on the puppies. The puppies will also be wormed on a regular basis. Puppies are no longer vaccinated due to issues with different vet requirements and their compatibility. However, puppies will be health checked at 4 days and at 7/8 weeks.
Your puppy will have an excellent start in life with high quality food, socialised with humans and other dogs from my pack. They will be acclimatised to both a crate in the house and kennels when older. All puppies come with KC Registered Certificate, microchipped and a puppy pack. The puppy pack includes puppy food, 5 generation pedigree certificate, puppy contract and 4-week ****************** insurance. There will also be a leaflet on house training, feeding and socialisation.
Visiting puppies will be welcome once. Throughout the first two months of your puppy’s life, we will keep you informed with up-to-date information, photos and videos.
We do not breed very often but when we do, this is done to a very high standard. All being well, the puppies leave at 8 weeks old around the 27th or 28th June 2026.
The price for a puppy is £2000. All expressions of interest are welcome but please be aware that some puppies are already reserved. The puppies can be visited and a deposit of £500 will be required to reserve your puppy
