Donnie – Beautiful, Affectionate 4-Year-Old Ragdoll Looking for His Forever Home 💙
It is with a very heavy heart that we're looking for a new home for our gorgeous boy Donnie, who turns four this October.
Donnie is a beautiful Ragdoll with stunning blue eyes, a lovely fluffy coat and an equally lovely personality.
He is an incredibly affectionate, sociable and chatty boy who absolutely adores human company. He's a real little character who likes to be involved in everything you're doing! Whether you're relaxing on the sofa or pottering around the house, Donnie will want to be right there with you.
He loves cuddles and attention and will happily settle down on your lap for some fuss. He's also quite the conversationalist and isn't shy about letting you know when it's dinner time!
Unfortunately, as much as we love him, we've come to realise that our busy household isn't giving Donnie the environment he really needs.
We have another cat and a dog, and while Donnie isn't aggressive towards either of them, he can be a little overenthusiastic in wanting to interact, which has increasingly caused some tension, particularly with our dog.
Combined with our busy working lives, we simply can't give him the one-to-one companionship he craves and deserves.
We genuinely believe Donnie would thrive in a quieter home where he can be the centre of attention. Ideally, we're looking for someone who works from home, is retired or simply spends plenty of time at home and would love a constant, affectionate little companion.
Donnie's ideal home:
- A calm, loving household where he can be the only pet.
- Someone who enjoys an affectionate, talkative and sometimes rather demanding lap cat!
- A home where someone is around regularly to give him plenty of companionship.
- An indoor home with lots of love, attention and cosy places to curl up.
A little more about Donnie:
- Four years old in October 2026.
- Male Ragdoll.
- Neutered.
- Indoor-only cat.
- Had his initial vaccinations, but boosters are not currently up to date.
- No pedigree registration papers.
- Rehoming fee: £150.
This has been an incredibly difficult decision because Donnie is very much loved. He's not a problem cat; he's simply a very affectionate boy who wants to be involved in everything and needs more attention than we're currently able to give.
We're in absolutely no rush to rehome him and will be carefully considering any enquiries. Finding the right forever home is far more important to us than the rehoming fee.
We'd love to hear a little about your home, lifestyle and experience with cats if you think you could offer Donnie the loving home he deserves.
He really is a special boy, and we'd love nothing more than to see him become someone's much-adored little shadow. 💙
