Experience homes only
We are very sadly looking to find the right, experienced homes for two young ponies we purchased two weeks ago. They are a 7-month-old filly and a 7-month-old colt and are being sold together. When we bought them, we were told they were nervous, however we underestimated how much time, experience and consistent handling they would need. Since bringing them home, it has become clear that they are very nervous and currently unhandled, and we feel it is in their best interests to be with someone who has the time, facilities and experience to bring them on correctly.
We have since learned that they previously came through an auction, which likely explains their lack of handling and trust in people. They are not aggressive, just fearful, and will need a calm, patient and knowledgeable handler who is used to working with young, nervous ponies.
Because we want to do right by them, we are being completely honest about where they are at. With the right person, plenty of time, and gentle, consistent handling, we believe they have the potential to do well.
Experienced homes only. Not suitable for beginners or children at this stage.
Homes will be carefully considered as their welfare is our priority.
