Description
With great regret I have decided to sell my rainbow boa, I’ve had her since she was a baby but unfortunately I have since moved in with my partner and had a baby, my partner is too scared to have it in the house as he’s never been a fan of reptiles.
It has not been sexed as I do not have the experience to do it myself and there’s not really any exotic animal vets in my area, however from the knowledge I do have after being around reptiles for the past 5 years, all signs point to it being a female.
She has really beautiful patterns and colouring which can be seen in photos, under the right light it perfectly iridescent as the species should be, I do have more photos where this is more obvious but they are of when she was younger as usually the only time I can take her out recently is when the sun has set (the iridescent is more visible in the sunlight).
I have a book which shows all details of care, including date of birth, each feed, each enclosure clean, each health check (unfortunately weight is unavailable as it became harder to weigh her once she was older and bigger). I will gladly give this book to whoever next has her.
She will need a new enclosure as due to having the equipment set up wrong it has become damaged (I have an automatic mister which we weren’t aware was leaking at the back of the enclosure and therefore the water soaked into the wood) however I am willing to include all equipment in the price (this includes light, heat lamp, heat mat, heat cable, any left over substrate, and more, I can compile a full list if interested) if equipment is not needed I am also willing to discuss lower price.
She has been handled since we brought her home and at one point was so good to they point where I’d sit in bed with her for at least half an hour at a time, but since having a baby I haven’t had the opportunity to handle her as much so she will need someone to ease her back into longer handling if this is something you want.
