Description
Lovely Hueso is looking for a new home. He is currently in foster in Kent. He is a rescue dog from Northern Spain who tested negative to Mediterranean diseases.
Hueso is 8 years old (DOB 1/12/2017) and he is a quiet, nervous boy who needs a special person to give him time and patience to settle. He loves female humans and is more comfortable with them but he will get used to men over time. He is not aggressive but he will avoid and try to make himself invisible.
Hueso would benefit from a kind dog to live with to help him especially when humans need to go out as Hueso does have separation anxiety. Ideally he does need someone who is home a lot or works from home. Both of these would be very important for Hueso.
He loves his walks. He is not scared of traffic or people on walks but he might sometimes bark at people. So someone who loves to go walking a couple of times a day would be great for this boy. He does have some knee problems and has had an xray in Spain. The vet said that plenty of walks to keep his weight down and YuMove supplements are very important.

Please note: We are looking for a secure garden with fencing or walls to a minimum of 5ft. We also need the dogs to be kept on a lead, long lunge lead or for people to use enclosed fields for off lead exercise as these dogs are scent hounds & have hunting backgrounds. We do not rehome with children under 12 years old.
